Platform · For owners

The schedule stops living in your head.

This is the owner's slice of the platform: what it picks up, what stays yours to decide, and what the first morning actually looks like.

Whose software it is
Ours. We build it, we host it, and we are the ones who fix it.
Whose data it is
Yours. Clients, bookings and notes leave in a file whenever you ask for them.
What it replaces
The calendar, the client list, and the part of both that currently lives in your head.

The handover

What stops coming to you

Below is the work an ordinary week takes. The answer is the third column of every row: “The platform” where the software picks that job up on its own, “Still you” where it does not. The dot on the rule only says the same thing again, as a picture.

None of this is a forecast. It is a list of what the software does, and a list of what it leaves alone.

  1. Taking a booking while your hands are busyThe platform
  2. Answering somebody at eleven at nightThe platform
  3. Telling a client which slots are genuinely freeThe platform
  4. Catching a double booking before it happensThe platform
  5. Reminding a client that it is tomorrowThe platform
  6. Putting a cancelled hour back in front of somebodyThe platform
  7. Deciding what you charge and who you hireStill you
  8. The client who needs a person, not an answerStill you
  9. Deciding where the agent stops and fetches youStill you

Three rows do not move, and they are the three that matter most. Anything claiming them would be selling you a story about your own business.

Day one

The first morning is deliberately dull

Nothing is switched off, nobody is retrained overnight, and the old way stays open beside the new one until it is plainly no longer needed. A first day that feels like an event is a first day somebody is about to lose a booking on.

  • The service list is yours before anything else happens: your own names for the work, at the lengths you really book them at.
  • Nobody shares an account. A person's hours are their own, and so is the slice of the calendar they can change.
  • Monday is not an empty grid — what was already booked is sitting in it.
  • It starts in one room or with one team, and the old way stays open until they stop reaching for it.
  • The agent stays off through all of this. Nothing answers a client until the calendar behind it is right.

The first month

What is different a month in

The change is not dramatic. It is that a handful of things stop arriving at you, and the ones that still do are the ones you would want to see anyway.

What we will not do is put a figure on it. We have not seen your week, and anybody quoting you a number before they have is quoting you somebody else's business.

  • A cancellation reaches you as a message instead of as an empty chair.
  • Somebody other than you can answer whether Saturday is free.
  • The week reads at a glance: who is busy, who is not, what moved and who moved it.
  • The thing you check before a day off is one screen, not three people.
  • A client's history is in front of whoever picks up, not in the memory of whoever booked them last time.

Ownership

What is yours, and how you get it back

The software is ours. What is inside it is yours, and the way out is a screen rather than a conversation.

We would rather you could leave and chose not to than have you stay because leaving is difficult.

  • Clients, bookings and history export to a file a spreadsheet opens.
  • You do not owe us a reason, and nothing is held back.
  • Each person on your team reaches only their own part of it, and a change to a booking leaves a record of who made it.
  • What is stored, where it is stored and who may read it goes in writing before you load the first client.

Say no early

When this is the wrong thing to buy

We would rather say it now than three meetings in. If one of these is you, the honest answer is that we are not what you need.

  • What you sell sits on a shelf. This books hours, so it books the wrong thing for you.
  • One pair of hands, a phone that rings twice a day, a paper diary nobody is fighting. Keep it.
  • You are held to a clinical or legal system you are not free to drop.
  • You are hoping it does the accounts too. It holds the week and the clients, and that is the whole of it.

What owners ask

I am the one who books everybody. Does that stop?
Only as far as you want it to. Whoever phones still gets a person, and that person puts the booking in the same calendar everything else lands in. What changes is that you are no longer the only door in, so the day stops being interrupted by the parts of it a screen could have answered.
My team will not use it.
Some of that is real and some of it is the first week. The part we can do something about is the part where the new way is harder than the old one: everyone gets their own column, their own hours, and nothing they have to learn that they were not already doing. The part we cannot do anything about is a team who were never told why it is happening, so tell them before we arrive.
Do we have to move everything across at once?
No — and if you push for it, we will argue back. Start where the week is hardest: one room, booking on it properly, with the old way still open beside it. Whatever in your business fits nobody's software shows up there, at a point where you can still go back to how you did it yesterday.
Who fixes it when it breaks?
We do. It is our own product rather than something we resell, so there is nobody for us to pass you on to, and no version of this where the answer is that the vendor is looking into it.
Can I see it before I decide anything?
Yes, and on your own week rather than a demo salon. You bring an ordinary week, we put it on the screen, and you say where it does not match the way you really book. If the answer is that this is not for you, you get that on the call rather than a proposal afterwards.
